The Pando Forest
This earth day animation was created to draw attention the the Pando: a massive grove of 47,000 quaking aspen trees located in central Utah in the Fishlake National Forest. All of these trees stem from a single root system, making this trembling giant one of the worlds largest single living organism.
The Pando increasingly faces many environmental threats, including deforestation, habitat loss, and climate change. Being home to countless species of animals and plants, it is very important that protections are put in place to ensure that this grove doesn't lose any numbers.
